CMHC’s Q3 2024 financial report further highlights this trend:


  • 206,157 Units Insured YTD: Of these, 64,979 multi-unit residential units were insured in Q3 alone, a 26% increase compared to Q3 2023.


  • Incentive-Driven Growth: CMHC’s MLI Select product, which rewards projects with long-term affordability, sustainability, and accessibility commitments, is driving demand for multi-unit insurance products.
