Joshua Hoo is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in real estate development and private equity. As the General Manager and Director of a prominent real estate developer, Joshua has been integral to every phase of development, including project feasibility studies, land acquisition, design, permitting, marketing, construction, and final closings. This comprehensive involvement showcases his expertise in project execution and management. With over 10 years of experience in a leading real estate private equity firm, Joshua has held various roles, including that of Executive Director. In these roles, he has successfully managed investments for over 1,000 investor households, leveraging his deep understanding of investor needs and market dynamics to ensure optimal investment outcomes. Throughout his career, Joshua has been involved in more than 70 real estate development projects, demonstrating his comprehensive knowledge of the industry and his strategic insight. This extensive experience has made him a trusted leader in the field of real estate development and private equity.

Dianna Grigoras has over 15 years of experience working in private equity, real estate, and tax advisory. She started her career working in tax policy with the OECD, the IBFD, and eventually switched to consulting, advising family-offices, and privately-owned groups on a range of tax matters related to investment vehicles, and tax planning. She has obtained her LL.M in International Tax Law from the Université de Lausanne, HEC., in Switzerland. In her spare time, she enjoys sailing, and running marathons.

Matthew M. Jones is the VP of the Capital Markets Group at Goodland Equity Partners. With over two decades of experience spanning entrepreneurship, business development, finance, and project management, Matthew brings a strategic mindset and proven leadership to the firm’s capital markets operations. Matthew holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics from the University of Windsor and is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship. His professional journey includes founding multiple ventures, leading large-scale financial and marketing initiatives, and consulting for top-tier financial institutions. Matthew’s expertise in financial structuring, equity and debt financing, and business strategy enables him to cultivate investor relationships and drive capital growth for Goodland’s real estate investment opportunities. His track record of success and passion for innovation make him an invaluable asset to the firm and its stakeholders.

Kendell Johnson

VP, Capital Markets Group

Kendell Johnson is a senior commercial leader and founder with deep experience in enterprise sales, strategic planning, and relationship-driven growth. He has led complex go-to-market work across cloud computing and fintech, with a track record of building high-trust client relationships and delivering results in major markets including Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles.  Kendell is also the CEO of Subskryb Corp, an auto-tech marketplace focused on the full customer vehicle-buying journey, spanning short-term leasing and subscriptions through to long-term financing.  His background includes leadership roles with Salesforce and Zuora, and public-sector enterprise experience at Oracle, where he managed end-to-end sales cycles and delivered tailored solutions to complex stakeholders.
